Call Out for Young Bhangra Musicians: Bhangra Ceilidh Research and Development Project

Join the Bhangra Ceilidh Research and Development Project with renowned tabla player Kuljit Bhamra, accordionist Becky Price, and the English Folk Dance and Song Society. ​

This project is looking for three talented bhangra musicians aged 18-25 to collaborate with three young folk musicians from the National Youth Folk Ensemble. ​

Not only will you get to work across musical styles and create a joyful and new musical and dance experience, but you'll also receive a paid music learning opportunity! ​

Mark your calendars for June 15th & 16th and November 2nd, 2024, and get ready to immerse yourself in the world of folk and bhangra music. ​

Travel and accommodation costs will be covered, and you'll even receive a trainee fee of £105.20 per 8-hour day. ​
